Katy’s journey into hairdressing began at just 16. From the start, she was driven by a vision to create a sanctuary for her clients—a place where they could escape the hustle and noise of daily life, and instead feel safe, nurtured, and truly relaxed.

 

After gaining invaluable experience at a few different salons, Katy realized her dream of opening her own space. In 2018, with unwavering support from her encouraging family and friends, her dream became a reality. This strong foundation of love and support gave her the confidence to pursue her ambitions and achieve great things.

 

The salon began to grown with the hire of her first team member, who went on to win the Apprentice of the Year award. This success set the stage for the salon’s growth, as Katy continued to open up new opportunities to teach the next generation of hairdressers. With a focus on personal growth and development, Katy remains dedicated to employing and mentoring new talent, sharing her skills and knowledge to help them thrive in the industry.

 

Today, Katy is a proud CPR Ambassador and educator, reflecting her dedication to excellence in the industry. The team shares a commitment to ongoing education, regularly attending workshops and participating in photoshoots and campaigns with leading brands to continually refine their skills and explore new horizons in hairdressing.
